Meet Kendall King

Kendall King, CFP®, AEP®

Founder & CEO of Castlepoint Wealth Advisors

Kendall is the Founder and CEO of Castlepoint Wealth Advisors. He is responsible for the strategic direction and vision of the firm, and serves as lead advisor to a diverse group of clients, with special focus on entrepreneurs. With 20 years experience in advising clients on a wide range of wealth management topics, Kendall possesses extensive expertise and specialized knowledge regarding entrepreneurial strategies and family wealth transfer topics.

Kendall began his financial services career at UBS PaineWebber as a financial advisor, responsible for providing both investment and wealth management services to private investors. In 2003, Kendall joined The Legacy Financial Group, where he became a partner in 2006, and helped Legacy grow into one of the largest independent Registered Investment Advisory firms in the state of Oklahoma.

Kendall founded Castlepoint Wealth Advisors in 2015 based on his belief in the importance of fee-only, client-centered investment advisors as well as creating a place where honest and talented people can thrive in their careers.

Kendall is regularly interviewed by publications that value his expertise on investment and financial planning topics, and is the author of Abundance—Your Path Starts Here. He received his BS in finance with a minor in accounting from The University of Oklahoma, and in 2005 attained the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. Additionally, Kendall holds an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation, and The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation.

Kendall and his wife, Courtney, live in Oklahoma City with their two children, Austin and Tanner. He serves on several advisory boards, including Junior Achievement Oklahoma (JA) and the University of Oklahoma business finance school. Kendall is also a member of Life Church, and heavily involved with Fields and Futures, an organization that helps Oklahoma City public school kids realize their purpose and potential through sports. Best of all, he enjoys serving as a volunteer coach for his kids’ athletic teams.
